About PBS - Tradition

There are not many engineering companies that could be proud of such a long history. We have been serving our customers all around the world continuously for more than 200 years. Since 1814, when Jan Reiff and his business associates established their workshop in Šlapanice near Brno, until today, the company has been at its technological peak of its time. The first manufacturer of steam machines in Moravia, the first manufacturer of Parsons steam turbines in Austro-Ungaria, the first producer of small turbojet engines in the Czech Republic.
